In my writing today i would like to share my knowledge frommy vocational highschool before about the "Motherboard". In ouf life this present time, af course we already know or even need computer, do support our work or school life, so "Motherboard" is one of the most important part of our computer. his writing i will invite you guys to closely know about what "Motherboard" is and the parts of its. The main board, often known as the circuit board, is the component of the computer that is responsible for connecting all of the various components. A printed circuit board (PCB) may be thought of as a motherboard since it contains predetermined routes that link one component to the next. A motherboard is also referred to as a mainboard.
The Motherboard also has each partition parts of itself that have their own function to run the programm of the computer.
From the picture above we can see that there are some partition parts of the motherboard that shown with number. i will explain about what is its name or even its function below :
1. Socket Processor Installation will be adjusted to the type of socket, each socket will be different and depending on the type of processor to be installed.
2. Memory slot Useful for installing RAM memory on your PC.
3. Northbridge The main component that regulates data traffic between the processor and system memory and the main channel of the motherboard
4. Southbridge Components that function to help northbridge
5. PCI Express x16 slot Dedicated slot for your VGA graphics card.
6. PCI Express x1 slot Used to install a card slot other than your VGA graphics card.
7. AGP slot Old type VGA slot that rarely works
8. PCI slots Common slots but with speeds below the AGP and PCI Express slots.
9. BIOS (Basic Input-Output System). Functions and is used to store the configuration of a motherboard.
10. CMOS Batrei Batrei that support / power the BIOS to the system.
11. SATA Port Serves to connect the hard drive with the computer.
12. IDE port Serves as a storage medium before the SATA generation.
13. Floppy Disk Port Serves as a port to insert a flash and the like.
14. Power Port Is a computer resource.
15. Back Panel Port located on the back of the PC
16. PS/2 Mouse port, to connect the mouse with the computer.
17. PS/2 Keyboard port, to attach the keyboard.
18. Parallel Port, for attaching low speed peripherals with eight bit data width. Usually used to install printers before the USB generation.
19. Serial Port, used to attach low speed peripherals with serial data transfer mode. But now rarely used.
20. SPDIF port, used to connect a computer with audio peripherals such as a home theater. 21. Firewire port, to connect external high-speed equipment such as video capture or video streaming.
22. RJ45 port, used to connect a computer with a LAN network.
23. USB port, used to interface with a new generation of external peripherals or equipment that replaces the parallel and Serial ports.
24. Audio port, used to connect a computer with audio systems such as speakers, microphones, line-in and line-out
Okkay readers, thats all some informations that i can share for you based on my knowlede before about what the "Motherboard"? is. i hoe my writing can give you some benefits and increasing your knowledge. in next writing i would like to inform you about types or kinds of motherboads, dont miss it. see you guys in my next writing
