Network Operating System Concept

Name : Aldini Vida Steivia

Class : TBI-C

Hello and welcome back to my page. I mentioned a movie called "My Stupid Boss" in my last piece, but now I'll return to a technical issue. I'd like to share with you a network operating concept that I learned in vocational high school, so let's get started.

In general, an operating system manages all of the resources in a computer system and provides services (Web, FTP, DNS, and so on) to assist and give ease in the usage and utilization of computer resource systems. A network operating system, sometimes known as a server operating system, is very similar to a stand-alone computer operating system, with the exception that in a network operating system, one computer must function as a server for the other computers. The computer network is made up of the following components:

1. A server computer is one that delivers services to other computers on the network.

2. Client computers are those that receive or make use of the server's services.

Operating System functions in the Network

It is responsible for managing its own resources as well as those of other computers connected to the network. To work correctly, the operating system must be installed on the computer. During the installation of a network operating system, both text mode and graphical mode are available as alternative modes.Installing a text-based operating system is one way to install an operating system with a text display on a computer. If the hardware specs of the machine to be installed are low, text mode is used.

The installation procedure will be expedited by the text-based installation technique. Text-based installation techniques for operating systems are often employed to expedite the installation process, despite their unattractive look. Typically, a text-based technique is used for computer requirements that are simpler than the operating system. Both stand-alone and network-based computer operating systems have evolved at a fast rate. There are several computer operating systems available for standalone and networked computers, including the Microsoft Windows Series (Win 98, Win ME, Win 2000, Win XP, Win NT, Win 7, Win 8), Unix, Sun Solaris, Linux. Series (Redhat, Debian, SUSE, Ubuntu, fedora), Mac, and others. Each operating system has benefits and limitations, necessitating consideration when selecting the operating system that best meets your requirements.

Conceptual Overview of Network Operating System

The operating system facilitates communication between computer users and computer hardware. Understanding the operating system offers a collection of services (Web, FTP, DNS, etc.) to assist and give convenience in the usage and use of computer system resources.

Okay, so based on what I know now about Network Operating System Concept, that is all the information that I can share with you. I'm sure this information is not perfect, but I hope it can be useful for us and I hope it can also be entertaining. I want to thank you for visiting my page and I will see you in my next post!!!!!!
